Lance Stanbury is a retail property management expert, having directed the pre-opening set-up and launch of malls throughout Europe for over twenty years. He has personally managed numerous large-format schemes in the UK, Poland, Bulgaria, Cyprus and has provided consultancy support on new and operational shopping centres in India, the Middle East and Asia. He provides mall consultancy support for distressed malls, delivering audits and turnaround strategies based on international best practice.

He developed the internationally acclaimed and CPD accredited series of Mall Management Masterclasses, with modules on investment analysis, leasing and tenant-mix modelling, placemaking, sustainability, retailer sales generation and commercialisation. Lance delivers the masterclasses to mall teams across Europe, the Middle East, the Far East and North Africa.

He also authored Cushman &Wakefield’s Centre Managers’ Operations Handbook which has become the instruction manual for its international malls. Lance is a member RICS, IWFM and the British Council of Shopping Centre’s (Revo) Customer Experience Committee and he is also a judge for the REVO’s “Achieving Customer Excellence” annual awards.
